Bologna, October 2025 — JUNO.AM continues to push the boundaries of additive manufacturing in Italy with the installation of the first Carbon M3 Max in the country. The acquisition, carried out directly from Carbon USA, strengthens a five-year partnership with the California-based company — now renewed for the next five years — and reinforces JUNO.AM’s role within the Carbon Production Network (CPN).
The M3 Max, the latest evolution of Carbon’s Digital Light Synthesis™ (DLS) platform, introduces an expanded build volume (307 × 163 × 326 mm) and a new generation of thermal and optical control, offering isotropic precision and production-grade repeatability beyond the capabilities of conventional SLA or DLP processes. The new system joins the existing Carbon M2 already operating at the Borgo Panigale facility, expanding DLS capacity and enabling the production of larger components and functional series in advanced materials such as EPX, RPU/EPU, and SIL…
At its Borgo Panigale laboratories, JUNO.AM currently integrates Carbon DLS, HP Multi Jet Fusion 5620, Stratasys PolyJet and FDM technologies, alongside LPBF metal production units for additive manufacturing in stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. A unique ecosystem in Italy, designed to provide complete solutions — from prototype to industrial-serie production — serving industries including automotive, medical, fashion, sports, aerospace, and packaging automation.
“With the M3 Max, we bring the latest generation of Carbon DLS technology to Italy. It’s not just about increased capacity — it’s a leap in production quality, enabled by our direct collaboration with Carbon’s Silicon Valley teams, a partnership that has been ongoing since 2020 and remains one of the most distinctive aspects of our work together.””
